Professional Pictures & Mirror Hanging in Evanston, Illinois

Evanston's diverse neighborhoods each present distinct baby proofing scenarios. The lakefront areas contain some of the city's grandest historic homes, large Victorian and early 20th century structures with multiple stories, servants' quarters and back stairs, widow's walks or third-floor spaces, and formal layouts with numerous rooms across several levels. Central Evanston near downtown features primarily brick multi-family buildings and vintage apartment structures with shared entry systems, older elevators in some buildings, and units that may have original 1920s-1940s features including Murphy beds, ironing boards built into walls, and small kitchens with vintage cabinetry. The area around Northwestern University includes many brick single-family homes from the early 1900s, often converted to student housing but also remaining family residences with steep front stairs, enclosed front porches with glass panels, and frequently updated interiors mixing modern and original features. South Evanston neighborhoods contain many Arts and Crafts bungalows with typical features including built-in cabinetry, decorative woodwork, and steep basement stairs. West Evanston areas feature smaller homes and more modest construction from the early to mid-20th century, often with narrow lots, steep stairs connecting multiple levels, and sometimes aluminum siding covering original wood frame construction.
